E5 – The Promise, Process, and Pitfalls of Obtaining Spiritual Enlightenment, Part 4
This is part 4 of the very first public talk that I ever gave. The topic was “The Promise, Process, and Pitfalls of Obtaining Spiritual Enlightenment. It was held in 2015 at a New Age/New Thought community and continues where the last talk ended. This particular episode follows up on some of the things that I would likely say differently six years later. I provide clarification on purpose, using the continuum of conscious awareness model, the ego as a curious paradox that gets a ‘bad wrap’, what the word ‘god’ is really pointing toward, taking responsibility even amidst the perfection inherent in the way of things, the role of trauma in the body and how it keeps us in our minds, and some deeper reflections on the ‘traps’ portion of this particular talk.
