…a spiritual discourse or sacred gathering that explores the nature of Truth.
Who am I? Why am I here? What is life all about? These are the ultimate questions of our very existence. Since time immemorial, sages, saints, and mystics of every wisdom tradition have sought to bring us into a direct, immediate, and intimate experience of ourselves as we truly are; revealing the final, silent answer to all such questions. And yet it is a subtle thing indeed, so simple and so ordinary that it is easily missed.
The mind, entrenched in its continuous pursuit of complexity, cannot grasp its most fundamental misunderstanding – that it is creating the very cycle of suffering it seeks to escape by imagining itself to be real. Satsang, when offered by a realized being, can serve as way to cut through this tendency of the imaginary and arrive at where we have always been – with new eyes that see and ears that hear; realizing the perfect everpresent love and freedom of the unconditioned.
The following 30-minute video offers a brief introduction into the nondual wisdom teachings that will be shared in Satsang by Bradley on the second Sunday of each month (event details are listed below the video):
The ‘Second Sunday Satsang’ Series
On the second Sunday of each month, from 5pm to 7pm, there is a Satsang being held at CommUnity Center 729 in Orlando Florida. This ongoing series is presented by Bradley Bemis, a teacher of nonduality, Self-realization, and the embodiment of awakening since his own profound spiritual awakening in October of 2014.
Each session includes an experiential component, followed by a talk on one particular aspect of the spiritual awakening process (see below), and finally by a facilitated ‘sacred circle’ discussion/sharing opportunity at the end.
The current schedule includes the following topics:
- Moving Through the ‘I’ of Awakening (13 May)
- Understanding the Nature of Mind (10 June)
- Recognizing What is Prior to Mind (8 July)
- Implications of the Unconditioned (12 Aug)
- Addressing Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt (9 Sep)
- Practices for Dissolving Into Awareness (14 Oct)
- The Truth Runs Deeper Than You Think (11 Nov)
Sessions are free, though donations are accepted and appreciated so that Bradley can pay for the space that is used. You can find the donation basket on a table by the door as you come in or leave.
After each session, we will be heading over to the ‘Ethos Vegan Kitchen’ for dinner – all are free to join.
