What is ‘enlightenment’? How does one ‘achieve’ enlightenment? What happens after enlightenment? These are important questions for the sincere spiritual seeker – and the answers are not necessarily what we ‘think’ they are.
For those who follow contemplative spiritual paths – like Gnosticism, Sufism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, and Taoism; or any of the other ancient wisdom traditions – there is a central theme that is repeated time and time again: We must work within ourselves, and investigate the nature of our own minds, in order to discover the truth of who and what we are.
In this open group dialogue, the speaker, Bradley, will spend time outlining the nature of the conceptual, mind-made self; how it was shaped and formed; what it means in terms of our experience; and what lies beyond it. We will also discuss a variety of tools and techniques that we can use to achieve our own direct realization of the deepest and most fundamental nature of reality itself.
The goal is to expand our frame of reference in a manner that opens us up to the very real possibility that we are already fully enlightened – awake, aware, and alive; sitting at the edge of a singular thought that keeps us from seeing it – sitting at the edge of enlightenment.
